Online Grass Seed Sales Continue to Grow

Online Grass Seed Sales – Buying Trends Move Towards Online Sales

Phoenix Amenity Supplies moved towards online grass seed sales 2 years ago. Since that time we have seen a steady increase in selling some of our grass seed online. The same is true of wildflower seed. With free delivery and the availability of next day delivery – this online sales platform has proved an attractive option for commercial operations where the requirement is not too great and where orders need to be placed immediately.

With the onset of increased mobile phone internet use, ordering on the go  – via the mobile phone – makes sense where sometimes time is short and the need is immediate. Phoenix Amenity is presently working on improvements to the website for mobile users to be able to view our products more easily and to pay via a number of internet payment options if required.

Continuing to make improvements in line with online trends is of utmost importance in the fast moving digital age that we are now in. Chris Baker has made a commitment to making those improvements, Chris commented:

“In this digital age our commitment is to improving the service we offer to our customers. The e-commerce aspect of our business is growing and we are responding to the trend by placing more items available to order online. This year we have improved our equestrian and pasture seed mix range and later this year we hope to see wildflower plug trays of 84 available to order online in a range of 3 mixtures.”

The main core of the business at Phoenix Amenity Supplies still operates on a quick response to requests for quotations and our regular clients making email purchases for major projects and for bespoke work. This is due to the operating demands of the landscaping business where the quantity and delivery costs have an affect on the price. We do not foresee a change to that in the very near future, however with e-commerce becoming more commonplace in B2B operations the demands may change as internet use progresses.
