Bird Strike Mix NEW FORMULA
The safety of aircraft and the danger of damage caused by birds striking aircraft whilst taking off or landing has long been a concern for authorities responsible for aircraft safety. This has brought about the introduction of "Long Grass Management". Tall Fescue, Cocksfoot & Timothy, in that order were found to be the best suited for a long grass policy. Tall Fescue is the most promising species due to its erect stiff growth habit. It is also a highly persistent, frost and drought tolerant species and is the most suited to long grass management when mown at an optimum height of 150 mm.
